Can Anti Psoriasis Treatment Cure A Fungal Infection ?

November 5th, 2009 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

I had a circular /oval skin patch at the base of my neck. My GP was not sure if it was psoriasis or a fungal infection. He gave me some anti psoriasis cream (Dovonex) and the skin patches disappeared with in three weeks. I wonder if this makes the possibility strong that the condition was psoriasis or is it possible that Dovonex can also cure a fungal infection ?

I doubt it Psoriasis creams are probably steroid based where as it would require a fungicide if it where a fungus infection.

I used dovonex for psoriasis and my husband tried it on a fungal infection. No improvement at all.
